Mouse Larisheva creates emotionally intimate stories about mental illness and queer identity. His writing explores generational trauma, moral ambiguity, and self-discovery with earnest compassion.
Born and raised in California, he studied figure drawing with Sheldon Borenstein in his adolescence and wrote stories under his bedsheets when he should have been sleeping. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2019 with a B.S. in Natural Resources and loves working with animals.
Mouse is transmasculine and currently resides in Oregon with his partner and cats.
